Robin Hood Festival

Held the third week in July in Old Town, the festival features a parade with Maid Marian, court and local residents in full period costumes, local archers competing with archers from England, food, open air concerts and family entertainment.

Christmas in Historic Sherwood

St. Nick parades down city streets and local choirs sing aroung the Christmas tree at Washington and First in Old Town.

Music on the Green

A free seven-week summer concert with a wide array of musical offerings draws crowds of all ages to Stella Olsen Park (between downtown Sherwood and Sherwood High School).

The Great Onion Festival

Held in honor of Sherwood's Onion King, the festival on the second Saturday in October features 1,000 lbs. of yellow onions used in different dishes serviced with the famous barbequed chicken cooked by volunteer firemen.

Other Celebrations

Cruising Sherwood: Hundreds of "Classic Cars" on display in downtown Sherwood with food, music, etc., on the second Saturday in June.
Sherwood Community Services Fair: Held the third Saturday of April
